The year 2008-2009 is the ABA's twenty second year of operation. ABA provides an international environment with an exceptional record of high marks in the IGCSE and International Baccalaureate(IB) examinations as well as the acceptance of ABA students to high-ranking Universities and Colleges throughout the world. The ABA is recognised by the Ministry of Education (Community Schools Section) of the Sultanate of Oman. ABA is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, USA and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The school is a member of Near East South Asia Schools Association (NESA); It is authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation as an IB Primary Years, IB Middle Years and IB Diploma awarding institution.
